Job summary

Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS) is seeking an Employment Specialist for its Career Network, a supported employment program in the Bronx. The role focuses on direct recipient services, job coaching, entitlements counseling, and resource development in community settings.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in social work or related field and relevant experience; exempt, full-time position with benefits and opportunities to help participants find employment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field required.
• 2 years experience in social services or vocational/career counseling preferred.
• Strong outreach, assessment, and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct recipient services and group services within CUCS Career Network.
• Offer outreach, assessment, job coaching, entitlements counseling, and resource development.
• Collaborate with community partners to create employment opportunities.
