Community Options, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring a part-time Employment Specialist to coach individuals with disabilities toward competitive employment.

You will help develop essential job skills and assist with job placement, resume building, interviews, and applications. The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of full-time experience supporting people with disabilities; valid driver's license and background checks are required.

• Accurately complete all documentation.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned.
• Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation.

Community Options, Inc. is a national non‑profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states. We are Now Hiring a Part‑time Employment Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA to coach persons with developmental disabilities and prepare them for employment. The Employment Specialist will develop essential job skills for persons with disabilities and assist in job placement.

Starting pay is $19.50/per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide the necessary assistance for people with disabilities to be placed in competitive employment.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years' full‑time work experience in supporting people with disabilities

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
