Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest in Moscow, ID is seeking a role to provide employment services to individuals with disabilities and disadvantages, including evaluation, assessment, training, coaching, placement, and retention. The position involves supervising and/or delivering employment services to participants earning wages.

A valid driver's license with personal auto insurance and successful background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years related experience, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with personal auto insurance and pass background/driver record check.
• Ability to follow CARF standards and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of programs and services.
• Assist with screening referrals for appropriate program options.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with participants, referral agencies, employers and team members.
• Follow up on participant progress and provide encouragement as needed.
• Ensure all paperwork, data entry and related activities are current, accurate, and in compliance.
• Stay informed of state and federal laws affecting the organization and people it serves.
• Provide services in accordance with CARF standards, safety policies, and Goodwill directives.
• Assist participants in achieving the highest level of independent functioning.
• Facilitate Person Centered Planning to determine vocational goals and oversee programs.
• Review participant information to determine appropriate job matches.
• Provide hands-on supervision and support to participants during job duties at various locations.
• Develop and conduct job-readiness services (resume, job search, interview techniques).
• Educate individuals regarding education and career planning opportunities.
• Assist employer with participant training, support, and accommodations.
• Assist employer in developing natural supports for participants.
• Educate employers and community about the benefits of employing individuals with disabilities.
• Provide Independent Living services per contract.
• Work with Workforce and Family Services to provide participant services.
• Follow all Goodwill policies and PPE requirements.
• Maintain agency confidentiality and comply with health, safety, and regulations.
