Job summary

Work Opportunities Unlimited is seeking an Employment Specialist to help individuals find meaningful employment and participate in its ESOP-owned mission. A typical day includes transporting clients to interviews, coaching on resumes and interviews, networking with local businesses, and guiding clients at job sites.

The role offers opportunities for growth through a Management Training Program and requires a valid driver's license with local travel.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the local community.
• Available to work Monday–Friday, daytime hours (minimum 20 hours for part-time).
• Comfortable using MS Office, documenting notes in an electronic system, and accessing apps on a mobile device.
• Experience in high-touch customer service environments.

Responsibilities

• Using your vehicle to transport individuals to and from job interviews (mileage reimbursement provided).
• Help individuals develop career goals and objectives.
• Teach individuals how to create customized resumes, fill out applications, write cover letters, and prep for interviews.
• Engage with local businesses to develop potential job opportunities.

• Using your vehicle to transport individuals to and from job interviews (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Working with individuals to develop career goals and objectives
• Teaching individuals how to create a customized resume, fill out effective job applications, write cover letters, and prepare for interviews
• Engaging with local businesses to develop potential job opportunities
• Coaching and guiding individuals at their job sites
