Centerstone is a leading nonprofit behavioral health system recruiting a part-time vocational trainer to provide on-site job coaching and employment skill development. You will work with employers to shape employment attributes and ensure accurate documentation while delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Up to three years of experience preferred.
• DSP must be obtained within 90 days of hire; Medication Authorization within 6 months; ACRE training within 1 year.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Provides vocational training and guidance at a client's place of employment. Works with employers and participates in the development of employment attributes and skills. Provides outstanding internal and external customer service, and maintenance of appropriate documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides personal care/physical assistance as needed, as well as on the job training of assigned clients.
• Takes initiative to prevent and resolve problems and offers recommendations for improving services and transforming Centerstone into an organization that embraces excellent customer experience.
• Assists service recipient in developing an individualized vocational plan, must be person centered, family centered, and service centered.
• Monitors service recipient progress in treatment and participates in treatment plan reviews as assigned.
• Updates treatment plans as appropriate.
• Submits treatment plans at all stages for medical review, if applicable.
• Completes all required documentation using clinically appropriate terminology and clinically relevant information and applicable standards.
• Demonstrates utilization and incorporation of audit feedback when completing documentation.
• Provides community education as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
• Excellent skills in customer service techniques.
• Skill in computer programs and the ability to navigate various web sites for job opportunities.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with clients, staff and job site Manager.
• Skill in problem-solving and conflict resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS
