Berkshire County Arc, Inc. is seeking an Employment Specialist to support people with disabilities in finding and securing employment in the Pittsfield area.

The role is full-time, hourly, with a typical 37.5 hours per week. Base pay starts at $22.25 per hour, with benefits including substantial health coverage, vacation, and tuition assistance as described on the BCArc career page.

Formación

• Minimum BA and one year of experience. Experience in a vocational rehabilitation in supported employment program preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a rehabilitation program or supported employment program may be accepted as a substitute for educational requirements.
• Valid driver's license & Insured vehicle

Responsabilidades

• Provide effective training of individuals by conducting assessments, developing goals, proactively assisting individuals to accel at their jobs, etc.
• Assist in the job development and job placement process, to ensure successful employment for individuals Participate in conferences, workshops, and other in-service training.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Employment Services.
