Rappahannock Goodwill Industries, Inc. is looking for a dedicated individual to provide a range of job training services aligned with its mission. Responsibilities include assessing participant skills and participating in group employment supervision, developing positive relationships with participants and employers, and ensuring timely reporting.
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, along with experience in social work or rehabilitation. Candidates should exhibit strong problem-solving and communication skills, and be able to handle physical demands effectively.
Provide a diversity of specific job training services related to Rappahannock Goodwill Industries mission. Participate, as assigned, in the assessment and implementation of job skills training in a variety of small group settings.
Education/Training: Bachelors Degree or equivalent and 1+ years experience or equivalent in social work/rehabilitation, working with individuals with physical and/or DD/ID disabilities or related area. Experience conducting/supervising training programs with knowledge of principles and techniques of development/implementation of training strategies a plus. Valid Virginia Driver's License (driving record must be acceptable to RGI's insurance carrier).
Physical Demands: Able to perform hands-on training for positions requiring heavy physical labor, standing for extended periods of time, ability to lift up to 50lbs and stoop and bend without restriction.
Working Conditions: Plant environment with varying hours and days. Limited local travel.
