Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an Employment Supervisor to lead a team delivering employment services, including assessment, self-sufficiency planning, and job placement. The role focuses on meeting grant deliverables, monitoring data, and ensuring quality and contractual compliance.

Responsibilities include staff management, program oversight, and building partnerships with employers and community organizations to create job opportunities for clients.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in a language spoken by client populations is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop direct service staff through supervision and meetings, assign cases and monitor workload.
• Supervise program implementation including assessment, self-sufficiency planning, job readiness training, job search, placement and post-placement support.
• Coordinate training activities and ensure high-quality services meeting funder requirements; track clients in database systems.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local employers and strategic partnerships with community organizations.
• Coordinate quality assurance through case file and database reviews; monitor grant deliverables and spending; draft program reports.
