Job summary

Syntax Talent Solutions seeks an experienced employment litigation associate to handle wage and hour matters and a broad mix of discrimination, harassment, and leave-related claims for a diverse employer client base. You will work closely with partners to drive cases from intake through resolution and provide day-to-day counselling on general employment law issues.

You will manage case strategy, draft pleadings and motions, and support hearings, depositions, and settlements, with strong emphasis

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of post-qualification experience focused on employment litigation, with a significant wage & hour component.
• Experience handling discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims under Title VII and state laws.
• Experience advising on ADA and FMLA issues, including accommodation and leave management.
• Solid litigation skills: pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage wage & hour litigation matters from pleadings through discovery, motions, and resolution.
• Handle discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims and respond to charges and statements.
• Conduct and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and support hearings and mediations.
• Draft dispositive and other motions and briefs in federal and state courts and before agencies.
• Provide day-to-day counseling to employers on ADA, FMLA, and wage & hour compliance.
