The role involves managing active caseloads through all phases, including discovery, motions, depositions, and court appearances.

Qualifications

• Active CA bar license required.
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience with motion practice, depositions, and discovery management.
• Experience in wage and hour litigation, class actions, and complex civil matters preferred.
• Strong legal research, persuasive writing, courtroom presence, and client advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Represent employee clients in state and federal court hearings, oral arguments, mediations, and trial proceedings.
• Handle written discovery; prepare for, take, and defend depositions of clients, witnesses, and corporate representatives.
• Draft pleadings, motions for class certification, oppositions to motions for summary judgment, and appellate briefs.
• Partner with trial teams to drive strategy across single-plaintiff, PAGA, and class-action litigation.
• Travel on occasion for court hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.
