California Job Shop is partnering with a firm seeking an Employment Litigation Associate/Of Counsel focused on Cal/OSHA in Woodland Hills, CA. The ideal candidate has at least two years of employment litigation experience or OSHA background and is willing to devote at least 50% of time to Workplace Safety matters.

Responsibilities include drafting responses to discovery and pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions.

Qualifikationen

• California Bar admission required and JD from ABA‑accredited school.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills.
• Experience with workplace safety enforcement actions preferred.

Employment Litigation Associate/Of Counsel – Cal/OSHA

Location:Woodland Hills, CA 91367
Description:Our client seeks an associate with at least two years of employment litigation or OSHA experience who is interested in dedicating at least 50% of their time to supporting the firm's Workplace Safety Practice Group.

Qualified candidates should be comfortable:

• Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings
• Drafting and arguing motions and other briefs
• Taking and defending depositions

Qualifications:

• Admission to the California Bar and a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school are required.
• Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials.
• Experience with workplace safety-related enforcement actions brought by Cal/OSHA, Federal OSHA, or other state OSHA plans is preferred, even if limited.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Compensation:$170,000-$270,000DOE with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, generous PTO, paid parental leave, 401(k) and carve out election, profit sharing, life insurance and more.
