Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Employment Litigation Associate to join its Melville, NY team. The candidate will defend and litigate employment-related claims, provide counsel to employers on labor law issues, and represent clients in court, before agencies, and in mediations and arbitrations.

Requirements include a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, 4+ years of experience with a preference for employment law, and current NY Bar admission.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 4+ years of experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background.
• Current NY Bar admission in good standing.
• Understanding of state and federal agency procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and discrimination charges.
• Advise and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, before agencies, and in mediations and arbitrations.
