Ogletree Deakins’ Greenville, SC office seeks an Employment Litigation Associate to join a national labor and employment practice representing premier local and national employers.

The successful candidate will perform legal research, draft memoranda, motions, pleadings, and participate in discovery, hearings, and counseling on employment-law matters; SC bar in good standing required with 4+ years of employment litigation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor must be held and candidate licensed to practice law in South Carolina, in good standing.
• 4+ years of employment litigation experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research and draft memoranda, motions and pleadings.
• Attend court conferences and manage discovery-related activities and investigations.
• Draft position statements and dispositive motions; counsel clients on employment-law matters.
