Job summary

CRA Consulting are currently working with a local authority in West Yorkshire who are looking to appoint an experienced Employment Lawyer on a 6-month locum contract. The successful candidate will join an established legal team, providing advice across a varied employment caseload and supporting the Council on a range of employment matters.

The role requires a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with employment law experience, strong knowledge of legislation and the ability to

• Local authority experience is desirable but not essential
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and case law
• Able to manage a caseload independently
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

CRA Consulting are currently working with a local authority based in West Yorkshire who are looking to appoint an experienced Employment Lawyer on a 6-month locum contract. The successful candidate will join an established legal team, providing advice across a varied employment caseload and supporting the Council on a range of employment matters.

The Role:

• Providing legal advice across a range of employment law matters
• Managing a varied caseload from instruction through to resolution
• Advising on contentious and non-contentious employment issues
• Working closely with HR teams and senior stakeholders
• Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice

The Ideal Candidate:
