Placements24 is seeking an Employment Law Specialist to join its legal team in Welkom, South Africa. The role provides expert advice on all facets of employment law, including compliance, disputes, and policy development for a diverse client base.

The ideal candidate is admitted as an attorney with at least five years' experience in employment law, with deep knowledge of LRA, BCEA, EEA, and proven CCMA representation. Strong drafting and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 5 years' experience focused on employment law.
• Deep understanding of the Labour Relations Act, BCEA, EEA, and related legislation.
• Proven experience in representing clients in the CCMA and various labour courts.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload and provide timely, practical advice.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures in line with current legislation.
