Neighborhood Legal Services seeks an Employment Law staff attorney to assist clients with unemployment compensation appeals, wage claims, discrimination, and other employee rights. The attorney will also handle record clearing and driving-privilege restoration, providing advice, counsel, and representation as needed.

Role requires courtroom appearances as well as phone consultations. Salary is based on experience, with exceptional benefits and a collaborative work environment in Pittsburgh.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in Pennsylvania or eligible for admission in PA.
• Minimum 2 years of Employment Law experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Screen clients for eligibility and referrals.
• Conduct client interviews and investigations.
• Perform legal research and analysis.
• Develop case theory and strategy for representation.
• Prepare pleadings and represent clients in negotiations, hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Maintain case files and enter time in a timely manner.
• Provide outreach to communities and participate in professional organizations.
