Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Employment Law Associate / Labor Attorney for a leading law firm in Detroit. The role requires a JD from an ABA-accredited school, MI bar admission, and 3–6 years of labor and employment experience.

You must be comfortable working onsite in Detroit at least 3 days per week, with 1–2 remote days. The position offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits, including 401k and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited law school (required).
• Admission to MI state bar (required).
• Three to six years of Labor & Employment experience, including counseling and/or litigation.
• Willingness to work onsite in Detroit at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Counsel employers on employment and labor law matters.
• Assist with litigation in labor and employment disputes.
• Draft and review policies, procedures, and employment-related agreements.
• Collaborate with partners to provide strategic guidance to clients.
