Job summary

Jobot is seeking an attorney with 3–5 years of employment law experience to join its team in Omaha. The role will involve both litigation and advisory work, advising on compliance, drafting documents, and representing clients in hearings and investigations.

Ideal candidates will have strong legal writing and research, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload. A portable book of business is a plus, with opportunities for business development and growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Drafting and reviewing employment agreements, handbooks, policies, and procedures.
• Representing clients in administrative hearings and investigations.
• Handling employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wage/hour, wrongful termination.
• Advising on labor relations and conducting workplace investigations.
• Providing proactive legal advice and keeping clients informed of changes in employment law.
• Leading client training on key employment topics (e.g., compliance, harassment prevention).
