Armstrong Teasdale LLP is seeking an experienced Employment & Labor Attorney to join its St. Louis office. The ideal candidate will have experience with a broad range of employment and labor matters related to advising and representing private and public employers. Candidates should have experience developing policies and procedures, conducting workplace investigations, advising on non‑compete and trade secret matters, drafting employment‑related documents including, but not limited to, employment agreements and restrictive covenant agreements, and experience with administrative charges and litigation of employment discrimination, wage and hour, and restrictive covenant cases.

Juris Doctor
Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Missouri; must maintain applicable license renewal and CLE requirements
3+ years’ experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm. Candidates who have experience representing and counseling public and private employers on a broad range of employment and labor matters. It is a plus if candidates have (or are interested in developing) experience with a broad range of traditional labor matters, such as representing and counseling employers in collective bargaining negotiation, union elections, strikes, picketing, campaigns, unfair labor practice cases before the NLRB, and other conflicts between management and labor unions.
Indirect - actively utilizes support staff or junior associates to ensure client satisfaction
The employee will be required to sit (or utilize a standing desk) for prolonged periods and work on a computer
Generally, less than 10%, however, this will be case specific and may, at times, involve more travel.
