Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience, or an Associate degree with 4+ years, or 6+ years of experience in duties.
• Experience in employment law, risk management, or investigations preferred.
• Strong documentation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct impartial investigations into employee complaints, policy violations, tort notices, and other allegations within established timelines.
• Interview parties and gather evidence while maintaining confidentiality and neutrality.
• Draft clear, concise investigation reports with findings of fact and risk assessments.
• Present findings and recommendations to County Counsel and leadership.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, Public Administration, Social Science, Law, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related field

Associate Degree plus 4+ years of experience or 6 years of experience in related duties
