Job Details

What You'll Do In This Growth Role

• Represent and defend clients in employment litigation matters before courts, arbitration panels, and administrative agencies.
• Conduct thorough legal research to provide accurate and timely counsel to clients.
• Manage all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, motions, trials, and appeals.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in employment disputes.
• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations in employment matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve desired results for clients.
• Participate in mediations and settlement conferences, advocating for clients' interests.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends in employment law.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of cases.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Employment Defense Attorney, with a proven track record of success in litigation.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• Extensive experience with legal discovery, negotiation, legal research, employment litigation, employment defense, mediation, and depositions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for clients and present complex legal arguments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
