Job summary

Living Innovations seeks an Employment Coordinator to lead and supervise our Employment Program, guiding job development, placement, and orientation for individuals we support. The role includes coaching staff and coordinating training to ensure strong performance and quality outcomes.

You will work collaboratively across the agency, build relationships with community partners, and drive opportunities for clients while upholding organizational policies and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Bachelor’s degree in social service or related field or experience in a related position preferred.
• ACRE Certification as an Employment Specialist.
• A valid state issued driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing job development and job placement activities for supported individuals.
• Overseeing orientation training program for all new individuals placed in employment opportunities.
• Ensuring completion of Vocational Rehab Reports.
• Coordinating direct report training/education and certification activities.
• Maintaining effective work relationships with supported individuals and stakeholders.

Education

The Employment Coordinator for Living Innovations is responsible for the management of our Employment Program, which may include career planning, job development or job coaching within the context of policies and standards established for and by Living Innovations. This position will also supervise and support Employment Specialist and Job Coaches ensuring direct reports receive support to be effective in their role and feedback on their performance, by way of coaching sessions and performance evaluations.
