Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking an employment coach to provide services to individuals with documented disabilities within the Group(Enclave) model of Supported employment. The role involves assessing client skills, delivering job coaching, and developing service plans to reach employment goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating with referral agencies, maintaining time cards, and ensuring documentation meets CARF and funding standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in a related field required.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• Ability to operate PC and databases; proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and evaluates client's skill level and support need in a person centered approach to aid in job training and task assignment.
• Provides job coaching and overall supervision of program participant work site activities.
• Develops service plans to include strategies that assist in improving program participant's work performance to achieve employment goals/outcomes.
• Maintains rapport and consistent communication with referral agencies regarding the progress of program candidates, including staffing and service planning meetings.
• Partners and collaborates with host department team members to ensure departmental goals are met.
• Responsible for the oversight and management of each participant's time card.
• Maintains program files per program standards and guidelines, with daily case narratives and progress toward employment goals.
• Utilizes case management system to input and track program participant data.
