Institute of Applied Behavior Analysis is seeking a Professional Employment Specialist to support adults with developmental disabilities in Lancaster, CA. The role includes coaching, community integration, and skill development to promote independence.

Hybrid training is provided; candidates with a Bachelor's may apply. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–2:30 PM, 30–32 hours/week, with pay of $25–$27 per hour and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in psychology, nursing, social work, ABA, rehabilitation, or related Human Services field.
• Minimum of one year of experience with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities.
• Experience addressing aggression and challenging behaviors preferred.
• Professional, reliable, motivated to learn.
• Have a reliable automobile and willing to transport clients.
• CPR/First Aid certification prior to hire.
• TB test negative.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and assist with ADLs.

Responsabilités

• Provide job coaching and on-site employment support.
• Connect individuals with community activities and employment.
• Assist with job placement, volunteer opportunities, and skill development.
• Teach independence and vocational skills.
• Support clients at worksites, schools, and in the community.
• Address aggression and redirect behaviors.
• Provide transportation and train on public transit.
• Document services and communicate with the team.
• Support positive behavior development and daily living activities.
