About the Position:

We are working with a leading international law firm that has an active need for an employment lawyer with 3+ years of experience to join as an associate in the firm’s Chicago office. This practice group works with clients in a variety of industries, including food and beverage, health, life sciences, media and entertainment, private client, professional and financial services, retail, technology, and transportation and logistics.

Responsibilities:

· Counsel employers on labor and employment issues, including HR, wage and hour, employment agreements, RIFs, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, WARN, employment-related arbitration and litigation, and employment-related policies

· Represent companies in litigation to prevent disclosure of trade secrets or violation of non-compete, non-solicit, and other post-employment obligations

Required Qualifications:

· 3+ years of employment counseling and litigation experience

· Experience with non-compete/trade secret litigation preferred

· Class action litigation experience is a plus

· Strong academic credentials and writing skills

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 - $310,000.
