We are working with a leading global Am Law 50 firm that has an immediate need for an IP litigator with a graduate technology degree to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate. This firm’s Intellectual Property practice has been Chambers-ranked for many years and handles IP matters in virtually every technical and scientific discipline, including counseling, procurement, and licensing involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and entertainment.

Responsibilities:
· Counsel clients on complex IP issues
· Develop court submissions relevant to infringement and validity
· Handle discovery, motions, expert opinions, and trial work for IP litigation matters
Required Qualifications:
· 2-5 years of IP litigation experience
· Graduate degree in a technology field ( electrical engineering, computer sciences, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, computer systems engineering or material sciences)
· Prior experience in the semiconductor, computer, networking, or software industry is a plus
· Admission to the USPTO preferred but not required
· Strong academic credentials
Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $365,000.
