The attorney will provide practical legal solutions, trusted representation, and contribute to business development within a dynamic firm setting.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active Iowa law license or ability to obtain admission promptly.
• Five or more years of employment, labor, and/or litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of civil litigation from case assessment through trial, appeal, or resolution.
• Represent clients in litigation, administrative proceedings, investigations, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations.
• Advise employers on federal, state, and local employment law compliance.
• Counsel clients on workplace investigations, employee relations, accommodations, leave issues, wage and hour compliance, discipline, and termination decisions.
• Draft and review employment-related documents, policies, handbooks, and agreements.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development and practice growth.
