Job summary

Gateway Community Action in Kentucky seeks a Business Services Representative to execute EKCEP’s model and policies, coordinating with the Business Services Director, workforce partners and local employers to recruit and retain staff.

The role involves developing employer solutions, hosting job fairs, staying current on labor market trends, attending chambers and civic meetings, and maintaining employer services documentation. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
• Related work experience may substitute for education at a 2:1 ratio.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions with employers to support hiring and training activities.
• Host job fairs to connect employers with potential employees.
• Consult with the Business Services Director on funded solutions.
• Stay up to date on local labor market trends.
• Attend local chambers, rotary, or other civic meetings in designated areas.
• Maintain documentation of employer services in the EKCEP Business Services Database.
