The Employer Relations Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. This position develops and maintains relationships with employers to create internships, cooperative education, and employment opportunities for Macomb Community College students and graduates. The coordinator will conduct outreach to local and regional employers, schedule and attend meetings, and participate in networking events and job fairs. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing employer needs, promoting college programs and student talent, coordinating recruitment activities, and tracking partnership outcomes. The role also involves collaborating with career services, academic departments, and workforce development teams to align employer engagement strategies with student career readiness and institutional goals.
