Job summary

Advantage Solutions is seeking an Employee Relations Partner I to support day-to-day employee relations activities and manage Tier 1 workplace investigations. This entry-level role provides foundational experience in handling routine matters within the Employee Relations team.

You will serve as a point of contact for inquiries, maintain documentation, and help coordinate final pay processes, separation agreements, and other administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field is required or preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR or employee relations is preferred.
  • No travel requirements for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Tier 1 investigations by performing initial fact finding and resolving straightforward workplace concerns and termination recommendations independently and with guidance as appropriate.
  • Serve as point of contact for employee relations inquiries received via phone, email, or ticketing systems and escalate complex matters to senior partners as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of employment actions and investigation outcomes within case management systems to support compliance and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support including preparing standard separation agreements and coordinating final pay processes.

Employee Relations Partner I

The Company services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics, and home centers. The Employee Relations Partner I serves as an entry-level professional within the Employee Relations team, responsible for supporting day-to-day employee relations activities and managing Tier 1 workplace investigations. This role is designed for individuals developing their expertise in employee relations and provides a foundational experience in handling routine and lower-complexity matters.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Tier 1 investigations by performing initial fact finding and resolving straightforward workplace concerns and termination recommendations independently and with guidance as appropriate

  • Serve as point of contact for employee relations inquiries received via phone, email, or ticketing systems and escalated complex matters to senior partners as appropriate

  • Maintain accurate documentation of employment actions and investigation outcomes within case management systems to support compliance and reporting

  • Provide administrative support including preparing standard separation agreements and coordinating final pay processes

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
