The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least three years in HR/employee relations, with strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in human resources and employee or labor relations.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and oversees impartial investigations involving disciplinary matters, grievances, discrimination, and other workplace concerns.
• Manages grievance files, records and reports using a comprehensive case management system.
• Develops and conducts trainings related to federal/state laws and College policies governing employee relations.
• Provides support in developing HR policies affecting employee relations and regulatory compliance.
• Consults with campus stakeholders to clarify problems and develop mutually satisfactory resolution strategies.
• Investigates facts and prepares documents to assist legal counsel on litigation and personnel matters as needed.
