Job summary

ELITE Solar is seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional to lead the development of fair, compliant employee relations programs in its Texas operations. The role focuses on open communication, timely issue resolution, and risk mitigation during a critical growth phase.

You will establish robust investigation procedures, provide guidance to managers, and partner with HR leadership and counsel on high-risk matters while helping shape policy templates and handbooks for ongoing

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement positive employee relations strategies that promote open communication, fair treatment, and timely resolution of workplace concerns during the company’s initial build-out period.
  • Establish employee complaint, grievance, investigation, documentation, and escalation processes that are consistent, legally compliant, and practical for a growing organization.
  • Monitor workplace climate, employee sentiment, supervisor effectiveness, and early indicators of employee relations or labor relations risk.
  • Provide management guidance on employee communication, corrective action, performance improvement plans, disciplinary decisions, terminations, and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct or support workplace investigations involving complaints, misconduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, or other sensitive employee matters.
  • Train supervisors and managers on effective employee communication, documentation, labor law compliance, respectful workplace practices, and lawful union prevention principles.
  • Ensure employee relations practices comply with the National Labor Relations Act, FLSA, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, Texas employment requirements, and other applicable regulations.
  • Partner with HR leadership and external labor counsel when needed on complex employee relations, labor relations, or high-risk employment matters.
  • Support the development and maintenance of employee handbook sections, workplace conduct policies, investigation templates, corrective action forms, and manager toolkits.
  • Track employee relations cases, trends, root causes, and recommended corrective actions to support leadership decision-making and continuous improvement.
