Pace University is seeking an Employee Relations Coordinator in Pleasantville, NY, reporting to the Associate Vice President of Talent Management and Employee Relations. The role handles intake of employee concerns, guides staff on HR policies, and coordinates resolution while maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities include policy interpretation, off-boarding, records management, and supporting engagement events on campus.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Talent Management and Employee Relations, the Employee Relations Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for employee relations inquiries and provides responsive support to employees and supervisors. This position conducts the initial intake of employee concerns and workplace complaints, gathers relevant information, and ensures matters are documented and routed appropriately for review and resolution.
The Employee Relations coordinator provides general guidance on Human Resources policies, procedures, and employment practices, helping employees and managers understand available resources and applicable institutional policies while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. The role responds to routine employee relations inquiries, assists in interpreting policies, and refers complex or sensitive matters to Employee Relations leadership as appropriate.
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with additional hours as needed. Pace Pleasantville Campus//Hybrid, Travel to NYC and Haub Law School campuses, as needed.
