You will have your own book of business. The support you bring will include consultations with leaders and employees, investigations, and performance management. You will also have an impact on our newest Banner Health employees as you help to facilitate new employee orientation. This position will primarily work the day shift; however, night shift availability will be needed. This position is an entry level role that performs the general day to day activities of employee and labor relations. The core functions described are typically lower in complexity and are performed with close oversight by leader, Employee Relations Consultant (ERC), and Employee Relations Center of Excellence. This role may also support a smaller service line or area as compared to an ERC.
Investigates and resolves employee relations concerns impacting the work environment. Role provides multiple facility leaders and Human Resources Consultants with counsel and support in employee relations investigations to include compliance with equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, training and development, and compliance with State and the Joint Commission human resources standards.
Must possess a knowledge of business or human resources as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in business, finance/accounting, human resources or related field. Ability to exercise good judgment and be sensitive to team member needs while balancing the goals of the company. Strong, verbal, written and analytical and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work independently, critical thinking skills.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
