Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. seeks an Employee-Owner Technician to support manufacturing, production, material handling, and quality across multiple production areas.

You will follow standard work and safety procedures to ensure efficient operations and high-quality output. Main duties include setting up and operating workstations, loading and moving materials, monitoring machine output, assisting with troubleshooting, training new hires, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Support setup and operation of assigned workstations and tasks such as loading, catching, trimming, wrapping, banding, assembly, and roll-forming.
• Perform material handling duties and move materials as needed.
• Assist operators by monitoring machine output and basic troubleshooting.
• Complete production tasks using tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete end-of-shift housekeeping.
• Train new hires on equipment, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure Quality Control is performed at each work center per standards and feedback.
