Job summary

The Christman Company is hiring a Scheduling Manager in Sterling, VA to join our project management team. You will develop, monitor, and update an integrated project schedule to drive efficient execution, lead training, and support scheduling-related BD/Marketing activities.

Responsibilities include leading CPM scheduling, time impact analysis, and translating project plans into schedules, while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in the construction industry required.
• Eight (8) or more years of experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Have the passion and commitment to building strong partnerships to support project goals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing procedures and guidelines for project planning and related scheduling management and control.
• Assisting with development and implementation of planning techniques and methods.
• Provides technical training and guidance to project personnel on planning and scheduling subjects.
• Supporting the project team efforts toward development of the project plan and translating that plan into the project schedule.
• Leading development and analysis of project schedules, CPM software implementation, time impact and delay analysis, and review of schedule updates.
• Assisting with the preparation of project time and cost claims.
