Job summary

Scheels in Johnstown, CO is hiring a part-time sales associate to greet customers, deliver exceptional service, and promote products including the Scheels Visa. You will grow personal sales, maintain visual merchandising, and participate in product training and team meetings.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 months of sales experience. The schedule includes evenings and weekends, and employees benefit from ESOP ownership and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor with courtesy and a smile.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and guiding through the sale, including promoting the Scheels Visa Credit Card.
• Grow personal sales by hitting set goals and following Scheels' sales standards.
• Create a positive end-user experience based on the products purchased.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards and assist with freight processing and inventory restocking.
• Demonstrate product usage and retrieve products from heights greater than 6 ft.
• Attend required product training and store meetings.
• Assist in training new associates in store expertise.
• Navigate a PC and handheld inventory scanner; programs include Microsoft Office, Google Email/Docs, and AS400.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by leadership.
