Job summary

Alliant Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Land Survey Project Manager in our Jacksonville, FL office. You will lead land surveying efforts, analyze problems, and deliver complex features using state-of-the-art technology in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires extensive surveying experience, CAD proficiency, and strong communication with clients and teams. You will mentor survey staff and ensure QC before final delivery, contributing to successful community-focused projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years overall experience.
• Thorough knowledge of land surveying principles and practices.
• Experience with multiple CAD/CADD software packages listed in qualifications.
• Proven history of project/task management on FDOT or Public Works Projects.
• Excellent customer service and ability to meet project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex survey/geomatic calculations and analysis for maps, plats and right of way mapping.
• Compile and research existing data to efficiently complete survey requirements.
• Coordinate and assist in preparing project estimates and schedules.
• Analyze deeds, title reports and other research materials for maps and reports.
• Oversee surveys to establish map boundaries and related features.
• Write and review legal descriptions.
• Review field notes and data from survey staff.
• Ensure QC before products advance to final delivery.
• Guide and mentor survey analysts and technicians.
• Review documentation and ensure timely completion of assignments.
