Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction projects in the Southeast Michigan region. You will collaborate with owners, architects, and trades to define scope, manage schedules and budgets, and guide teams through preconstruction and execution.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and at least five years of leadership experience in commercial construction, with strong communication and safety

Qualifications

• Must have strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Experience coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of schedules, budgets, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale commercial construction projects in Southeast Michigan.
• Define scope of work and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Manage staffing, schedules, and budgets across project phases.
• Prepare bid packages and support preconstruction activities.
• Oversee subcontractor relations and vendor coordination.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
