Job summary

Graybar in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler. You will receive, store, select, pack and ship inventory using our Warehouse Management System; operate pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts; work Monday to Friday 6:00am–3:00pm.

Starting pay is $20.50 per hour with $2.00 differential, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth in an employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform physical requirements in a warehouse environment including lifting and climbing
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Experience in a large warehouse with WMS preferred
• Excellent attendance and work ethic

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process
• Select, pack and palletize shipments
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts
• Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections
