Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Joliet, IL to help move products through the warehouse efficiently.

You will receive, store, select, pack and ship inventory using a Warehouse Management System, and operate pallet jacks and forklifts. Safety and daily inspections are emphasized.

2+ years of warehouse experience is preferred; must pass pre-employment physical, be at least 18 years old, and maintain good attendance. Compensation is $19.39 per hour, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–12:00pm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Minimum age of 18 required.
• Good attendance and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material per WMS processes.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack LTL shipments; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse and perform daily safety inspections.
