Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to ensure products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently. You will operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts, and work within our warehouse management system to process materials.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, selecting, packing, palletizing shipments, and performing cycle counts while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections.
