Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to ensure products are received, stored, selected, packed and shipped efficiently. This role uses a Warehouse Management System to track inventory and requires operating pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.

The candidate will receive and store material, pick and palletize shipments, and conduct cycle counts. Safe operation and adherence to safety inspections are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Able to perform physical requirements of a warehouse role, including lifting and climbing.
• Minimum age of 18 required.
• 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred, with large warehouse exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material according to WMS processes.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments and conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse and follow safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections.
