Job summary

Border States in Nampa, ID is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support operations, receive freight, check for damages, and manage stock locations. You will fill orders, coordinate with departments and carriers, and keep inventory areas neat with accurate locators.

The role emphasizes safe handling, accurate packing, and adherence to safety standards; prior warehouse experience and forklift operation are a plus. We offer ESOP, health/dental/vision benefits, and a competitive pay package.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems is also preferred.
• If the employee will be driving, candidate must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license and may require a medical certification.
• PC working knowledge for Windows, internet, email and SAP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight, checks for damages or shortages and distributes material to stock locations.
• Fills special orders and/or backorders as material is received.
• Coordinates with departments, carriers, and vendors on discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Packs material for delivery and ensures correct labeling and inventory accuracy.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area and operates equipment safely.
