Job summary

KE&G Construction Inc. is seeking a Takeoff Technician to support estimating on heavy civil projects in Tucson, AZ. You will produce detailed digital takeoffs, verify quantities, and define scopes for earthwork, utilities, paving, and structures, enabling bid accuracy and cost forecasting.

Work closely with estimators and field teams, interpret plans, and QA/QC surface models. Proficiency with Trimble, Bluebeam, and MS Office is required; ADOT tolerances and drone data workflows are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in heavy civil takeoffs or related preconstruction/estimating support.
• Experience with Arizona agencies (City/County/ADOT).
• Familiarity with GPS machine control and drone files and survey workflows.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate digital takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, curb/gutter, base, asphalt, concrete, and structures.
