Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. is seeking a field survey support professional to manage data processing for survey projects. Must pass motor vehicle screening and a background check, and have a valid driver’s license. Office-based role with occasional field exposure.

Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position, except for TN visa eligibility. 3–5 years using AutoCAD, Carlson, or MicroStation preferred, with strong coordinate geometry and trigonometry skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with coordinate geometry and trigonometry.
• 3–5 years with third-party software for data reduction and drafting (AutoCAD, Carlson, MicroStation) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs topographic plotting, terrain modeling, plat preparation, note reduction and design file generation.
• Performs office survey activities per standards.
• Researches property owner and utility records.
• Performs office computations including QA/QC; tracks job progress.
• Coordinates information for stakeout services.
• Analyzes raw data for mathematical closure and geometric accuracy.
• Prepares finished grade sheets, topographic maps, records of survey and corner records.
