Job summary

Amsted Rail Petersburg is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production assets across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You will read blueprints, diagnose issues, and restore equipment to optimal performance.

You’ll perform preventive and predictive maintenance, calibrate machinery, and maintain accurate CMMS records while supporting parts inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training, an associates degree, or certifications in industrial maintenance/millwrighting preferred.
• 25 years experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production assets across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Calibrate machinery and run tests to ensure optimal performance before release to production.
• Keep precise maintenance records in CMMS; monitor inventory and help coordinate parts and supplies.
• Champion safety: follow OSHA and LOTO procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
