Job summary

Roeslein Renewables seeks a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of the biogas generation system (lagoon cover) and the biogas flare system at our farm sites. You will work with Biogas Technicians and ensure safe, reliable equipment performance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with trade school certification or an associate degree preferred. Strong communication, attention to detail and time management are essential, plus a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Trade school certification or training preferred.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; both oral and written are required.
• Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
• Requires valid driver license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain process equipment including blowers, flares, instrumentation and controls.
• Perform testing and analysis on lagoon performance.
• Support and assist the work of the Biogas Technicians.
• Safely drive between multiple farms.
• Follow all process safety requirements including wearing a full face respirator for several hours at a time.
• Perform duties related to general maintenance and appearance of the facilities, including vegetation management and grounds keeping.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
• Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with safety requirements.
