Job summary

Grace Skilled Nursing & Therapy - Norman is seeking a friendly Laundry Aide to manage daily laundry operations, maintain clean facilities, and accurately record wash temperatures. You will store and return clean linen to designated areas and ensure clothing is returned to residents’ closets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of principles used in washing of linens and clothing.
• Knowledge of how to handle contaminated linen and clothing.
• Knowledge of how and what to use to disinfect.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility of laundry service.
• Keep equipment and laundry area clean.
• Take wash water temperature and record it on daily basis.
• Clean linen dried, folded and stored in linen closets in designated areas.
• Return all cleaned personal clothing items back to the proper resident’s clothing closet or dresser.
