Job summary

Sundt is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager for our Salt Lake City area projects. You will oversee safe, profitable, and timely project execution, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

This role includes leading business development activities, managing budgets, schedules, and procurement, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. The position requires a four-year construction-related degree and extensive experience in Pre-Con management, with proficiency

Qualifications

• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Experience in Pre-Con managing construction projects, thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, cash flow procedures.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Has overall responsibility for project success, including safety, schedule, profitability, quality and customer satisfaction as well as responsibility for personnel decisions that impact the project.
• Participates in the business development process including client contact, relationships, proposals, presentations, and negotiations for selected projects.
• Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Responsible for understanding and administering prime contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, purchase order agreements, insurance, etc.
• Participates in preparation and review of estimates with attention to cost control, equipment requirements, constructability, formwork, materials, manpower, general conditions, schedule, insurance, etc.
• Champions the orderly, timely transition of projects from the estimating phase to the field with contract review meetings.
• Coordinates with the Project Superintendent the means and methods required for successful execution and monitors resources.
• Develops the overall CPM schedule with Project Superintendent(s) and ensures procurement is coordinated with Project Engineer(s).
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports and uses reports to manage costs and projections.
• Reviews and executes all change orders, supplements, and cost control budget adjustments.
• Manages billing and cash flow with subcontractors and Textura.
